1. She turned down the DNCC

invitation to join the Frontline Program. This program apparently targets congresspeople who won by slim margins and works to help them keep their seats in the next election. The program raises money for them and gives them advice. Porter was asked to join and turned them down (surprise, surprise!). Hodes accepted. Given that the DNCC offered her NO help in the last election, I say good for her! Now I figure that we'll see Shea Porter working with her grassroots base here in NH and Hodes sitting in a back room somewhere in DC raising money. Damn, I wish I lived in the 1st District!
