5. For a simple and easy-to-use...
PHP/MySQL website, try Xoops(http://xoops.org). Easy to setup and administer, very easy to add content to and a lot easier to run than a site in Frontpage.

Just install it, add the news module and a few others and you are on your way. It will be a good learning experience too.
