Attempt to oust Nader from N.J. ballot is denied

TRENTON - Ralph Nader will appear as an independent presidential candidate on New Jersey's ballot, according to the state Division of Elections.

A challenge to keep Nader off the ballot was denied, said Paul Loriquet, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office. Loriquet did not know who filed the challenge.

It would be good if Nader is on the ballots of as few states as possible. If he is not on enough ballots of states that add up to a majority of the electoral college, it will further marginalize his campaign.
