There's a new leader in the City of Newburgh. Democrat Judy Kennedy has declared victory. Our Christian Farrell has the details. Her 2 council running mate also win...its big the entire concil is now all Democrats.

11:52 p.m.: All districts have now reported in the City of Newburgh.
Judith Kennedy is apparent winner over Christine Bello, 1,283 to 732.
In the council race, Gay Lee and Credric Brown win with 1,118 and 1.138 votes; John Giudice finished with 775 and John Penney got 701.

A new Democrat pickup for Orange county Legislature.

11:06 p.m.: With all 15 voting districts in in the OC Legislature District 11 race, Matthew Turnbull is the definitive winner over incumbent James Petro Jr; tally is 1,218 to 736.
(This is big in keeping our County Nursing home open and repairing rather than replacing the old county center.)

I feeling a spring in my step tonight.
