LI Repugs Chances in '06? |
|
I've been savoring the democratic gains in Nassau and Suffolk counties, once a solid republican bastion and, now, not so much. I was delighted to see DA Dillion get the boot. I've yet to see how the various towns making up the 3rd Congressional District voted. Could Peter T. King - Chimpy's water boy and darling of the Right To Life crowd - be headed for Dillion's fate? Beaten by a unknown, spirited and determined rational candidate. I sure hope so.

Republicans outnumber Democrats in registration there. However, considering the way the rest of the area has changed, it is not a stretch to imagine kicking him out of office come the new election.
