NYC Gathering: February 4th, 2006 - anyone want to come

Ok, I really hate putting these things together but JimmyJazz, Joan_Alpern and myself will be in NYC (weather pending) on the weekend of February 4th-6th (we're going to a concert on Sunday night). So who is interested in a Feb 4th party somewhere in downtown Manhatten? I would probably recommend Rocky Sullivans unless someone can remind me where we had that other party last year in NYC (It was a cool bar but I can't remember the name).

Not sure why the Rocky Sullivan website is down, but we had the last NYC gathering at Rudy's and the nice thing was a small outside area in the back where you could drink beer and smoke cigerettes. Sure it's February and it'll be cold but I'm trying here.

I'm not sure if you're looking for something different, but there is an Asian pub downtown I always go to that would be really cool to hang out with DUers in. It's at 35 Cooper Sq. & I know how to get there easily. If you guys are in midtown beforehand, I could easily give subway directions...

I'd love to meet up with everyone, regardless of where we go... it's just that midtown bars/pubs card me and downtown ones... don't! :hi:

Lynne and others may now meet the KOEBers the weekend of the 17th-19th. They will not be in NY the weekend of the 4th anymore -- they are going to DC.
