So, 12 of us started out from the car rental company in St Louis. We are all basically strangers to one another, having gotten together via the Instead of War group in St Louis.
It's been a good trip so far with only minimal getting lost.
Too tired to really post about our journey thus far but we WILL be in New York and I WILL get a REAL bagel!!!!

Does anyone else think that some name tags might be a good thing. Even if they all just say Democratic Underground, so that we can identify each other.
A few people have mentioned going to Staples to pick up supplies for posters and signs but I don't know if this is on their shopping list. My office is a block from a Staples so I can easily pick some up.

I wanted to do this at Camp Casey last August. It was so frustrating to get back home and see here on DU that there were a bunch of DUers there I had not met.
So at Easter, I put a DU bumper sticker on a stick and had a little DU flag. It did get a couple DUers' attention. :)
