Camp Casey-Charlotte
Every Saturday, people meet on the corner of Central Ave. and Sharon Amity Rd. near Eastland Mall to demonstrate for Cindy Sheehan, peace against Bush and the war. Several of my friends and I went yesterday and it was a very positive experience. We got lots of support and honks from the passers-by. This is one of the busiest intersections in Charlotte, so even on a Saturday there is a steady stream of traffic. Bring a sign and something to drink!

Every Saturday at 1:00 pm. We are out of town Labor Day weekend, but I told the guy who was handing stuff out and seemed to the be the organizer that we would come two weeks from now and he said, "Look forward to seeing you here." So it looks like they plan to be there every Saturday at 1:00. If you could let more people know about it, it would be great.
