Triangle DUers: If you weren't at Supernova's party, you settled for LESS! |
|
She REALLY went "above and beyond" with the food... (Bacon-wrapped Scallops; need I say more?)
AND the dozens of imported microbrew beers.... The Framboise Lambec was PERFECT with the tiny gourmet cheesecakes!
And she didn't stop there: after she had trucked in all that food, she went INSANE with the decorations!
Skeletons and cobwebs EVERYWHERE... it was almost like FEMA was in charge!
And, of course, the guests were fantastic! That short guy in the "newborn baby" costume was totally intense- he NEVER ONCE broke character! (rofl!)
All you Triangle DUers who WEREN'T there really missed a good time!

And she had Three Philosophers and hazelnut coffee too! Those are a couple o my absolute favorite things! Yummy food and libations everyplace - something for everybody, and every spook too!
Spooky music, and spooky characters (NO none of the White House staff was there - I think they mighta been 'busy'-heh). It was such a great suaree, even a Republican and Osama himself couldn't resist coming to see what it was all about. :P
It was a great party and anyone who missed it really missed out on a great time with great folks! Supernova, :yourock:

2. So Glad I Escaped Cary to Attend |

Supernova, what an awesome party! As someone who is surrounded in her neighborhood by people with "Support Our Troops" signs in their yards and next-door neighbors who have been hostile ever since I put a Kerry-Edwards bumper sticker on my car, it was so refreshing to go to Supernova's party and speak my mind with like-minded DUers.
The food was delicious, the Framboise was a real treat, the conversation and discussions were relaxed and interesting. I'm also glad that I didn't break the oven door handle. :D

We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. The beer was fantastic. The atmosphere was spooky. And, of course, the guests were fascinating. Thank you supernova for putting everything together. :yourock:
