LaTourette places party over people
First it was CAFTA....Steve switched at the last minute and was the
deciding vote in the House. Then came the budget bill....

August 2005....

"This week, House Republicans were biting their nails about the prospects
of a $49 billion budget reduction bill. They scrambled to garner every GOP
vote possible. But around 1:15 am Friday, LaTourette voted against the
legislation."

"But the GOP leadership desperately needed LaTourette's help to pass this
controversial measure at the last minute. So LaTourette caved."

This bill was disastrous for the people of NE Ohio. It was disastrous
for the people of our nation.

Here his lame and insulting excuse here:

His constituents mean little to Steve....party loyalty wins out when the
chips are down.
