Vote $$$ for Jennifer
Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriots Fund is doing another of those "votes" on which Secretary of State candidate will get $5k from the Fund.

Ohio's own Jennifer Brunner is one of the candidates.

Ya' know, the speculation is that the state Repukes are putting money into her opponent's (What's His Name) campaign in an attempt to hold onto the Apportionment Board in 2010. There are still many "undecideds" in the SoS race, so Jennifer can use all the contributions and recognition she can get.

Go over to the PPF site and vote for Jennifer.

1. Done
The auditor does the apportionment. Brunner is excellent. We must have her and Barbara Sykes for auditor.

7. Kick
Ol' What's His Name has made a $1 million media buy this week to run negative ads against Jennifer. Maybe you've seen his 1st ad -- tries to claim that Jennifer was soft on crime when she was a Common Pleas judge. Real Willie Horton crapola. Pure bullshit.

The Brunner campaign got a very good counter punch ad produced and on the air (started today), which was a week or so before they had planned to start doing TV.

She needs our help. Vote for Jennifer.

9. You Did It !!
From a Russ Feingold email

"All the votes have been counted, and I'm proud to announce that Jennifer Brunner, from Ohio, is our newest Progressive Patriot. Her campaign for secretary of state has drawn an enormous amount of grassroots support, and I'm pleased to have the chance to make a $5,000 contribution to her campaign.

Jennifer supports defending the most sacred American right - the right to vote – and the voters from Ohio are supporting her. She has worked as a Deputy Director of the Secretary of State's Office and has served as a Franklin County Judge. Now, Jennifer is running for Secretary of State to restore the people's trust in Ohio elections. She will bring her record of impartiality and professionalism to the Secretary of State's office, ensuring elections can be audited and verified, so that voters have confidence that elections are safe, reliable, and trustworthy.

To learn more about Jennifer's campaign, please visit her website at http://www.jenniferbrunner.com/."
