The Repugnants are coming....!! |
|
I was reading over at Buckeye State Blog that the GOP has reserved 3,000 hotel rooms in central Ohio for GOTV. They are targeting the 18th, 15th, and 12th....Space, Kilroy, and Shamansky. The Columbus area is going to be reeking of Repugnants. Space's District is much larger...but I bet these Repugnants will be in Zanesville, Newark, Chillicothe, and Coshocton.
So what should we do? Any ideas? Should we send LTTE alerting folks that the GOP is bringing in out-of-state people who know nothing of nor care little for the state of Ohio? Or do warn all parents that the GOP is going to descend into central Ohio and to hide their children? LOL! That was a joke.
If they have reserved 3,000 hotel rooms, that means there will probably be over 5,000 people. Right? I guess this means that the Religious Right in central Ohio isn't signing up to do the big 72 Hour GOTV for the Repugnants, right?
Do you think Ohio Repugnants will resent out-of-staters telling them to go vote? And if so, how do we get this information out? After all, do these out-of-staters understand the economic pressures Ohio has been faced with? We are: #1 in Bankruptcies, Job Loss, and Foreclosures.
Ideas?

3. Let them come, and here is why... |
|
You all know it rained cats and dogs over the last day and a half. Now, today, the wind is going to blow like a tropical storm. It will STRIP massive quantities of leaves off the trees. Yards too wet to do anything about them this weekend.
NEXT weekend, people will be out in yards doing leaves like mad. No one will appreciate a political operative bothering them when they have eighty eleven tons of leaves to get done, and blisters on their hands from the rakes and leaf blowers.
Seriously, people are angry enough in Ohio, and getting bothered while they are cleaning up a mess in their yard, knowing they cannot sell their house right now because sales are stalled, they are pissed because many of them are going to have to vote against another school levy because they simply cannot afford to vote yes, which is what they really want to do. And then some idiot comes up while they are busting their ass and wants to engage them in political talk?
That is my prediction anyway.
