Can any of you please help this pair of peace activist teens?
Edited on Tue Jul-10-07 12:08 PM by SaveAmerica
They're coming through Ohio on their way to Washington in a few weeks, they've walked from Cali and their goal is to be in DC by September 11. If you or anyone you know in Ohio is involved in any Democratic groups, maybe you can walk part of their route with them? Bring them some food along the way or any kind of help you can give them to help them reach their goal (sunscreen? new shoes? $5? every little bit helps). I really think it would boost their morale to have others walking with them, though. Many groups can tag team walks with them through the different counties of Ohio - thanks everyone!!

PS the article mentions the web page where you can track their location to get an idea of where and when they'll be.

2. That would be perfect!! Do you know of any organized groups in
the area so you guys could coordinate with them as they get closer? I'll have to take a closer look at her web page to see if there's any contact info.

I am sure they are out there, but I don't know who they might be,
I am a little ways from Columbus.

They need groups / events along the I-70 corridor

9. As of 18.08.07 they are outside of Richmond, In.
They will be at Earlham College in Richmond this evening (6:00pm) for a peace rally.
There are now seven people marching.
