Beware of misleading information on Issue 5
A (yes) vote for Issue 5 is to limit interest rates a payday loan company can charge to 28% they can charge as much as 391% now.

I got an ad in the mail today to vote (no) on Issue 5.

Vote No to a government mandated financial database.
Vote No to exposing private financial data to Internet hackers or careless employees.
Vote No to government tracking and limiting your loan opportunities.

It shows a couple elderly people and a headline "Pensioners Data Breached."
This is totally misleading it says nothing about the real intention of Issue 5 to limit interest charged on payday loans, instead they are claiming if you vote yes you will be subject to identity theft.

It comes from WWW.Ohioans4financialfreedom.com

I guess that's another name for Republican loan shark rip-offs.

The big tobacco companies made a similar misleading ad on the smoking ban last year.
