I guess there's no doubt how Inhoff and Coburn are going to vote
on the Detainee Bill. Has anyone else called their offices today and gotten beat up by their staff?

It sucks not having representation. :(

1. Oh, I dunno ...

Coburn might vote against it because it doesn't have a provision that allows him to achieve his dream of being the modern Josef Mengele.

Or something ...

I don't call their offices. Perhaps I should, but I prefer to send mail.

2. You'd just get a condescending little note out of the deal...
It will only piss you off more. I got a nice one after I emailed and called Inhofe before the Iraq blank check fiasco. The letter said that it was nice I had written to let him know my opinion, but that he knew what was best for our country. Basically he told me I was lucky I could tie my shoes, patted my head and told me to take off my shoes and get back to the kitchen.

3. I emailed Inhofe as part of an internet campaign vs Ashcroft as AG
I got a long letter from him saying basically that everyone was lying about Ashcroft, that he was a wonderful person, not a racist etc.

And, if I recall correctly, that Ashcroft was being attacked b/c he is a 'christian.'

4. It's always about that.
:eyes: Fucking idiots. Christians are the persecutors in this country. Not the persecuted. I'm so sick of hearing them whine.
