Is Brad Carson out of money? |
|
Over the last couple of weeks it seems like Coburn's ad buys have tripled while Carson's have completely trailed off. I can't remember the last time I saw a Carson spot in OKC. Meanwhile the Coburn spots and the RNC spots are running around the clock. Apparently they're working. I just saw a Survey USA poll with Coburn up by 6.
I know Carson isn't the most popular guy here, but it chills my spine to think we could have a new senator who makes Inhoffe look like a tree-hugging liberal.

1. I've seen several Carson ads over the last few days, however, |

Coburns ads seem to be running 3-1 over Carson's. Obviously, the repubs are pouring money into OK, since the majority of Coburns ads appear to third party. I too shudder to think about Dr. Tom winning this election....it's scary enough to have Inhoffe, can't imagine what it would be like with Coburn and Inhoffe.

Oklahoma peculiar brand of politics but Survey USA is highly unreliable and I would take it with a grain of salt

While watching the Red Sox/Cardinals tonight, I kept an unofficial tally of Carson and Coburn ads. Coburn ran a few more ads than Carson. On the other hand, Carson ran different ads. The only Coburn ad I saw was the one of him and his wife sitting there whining about being attacked by Carson.
Don't know what that means, just making a note of it.
