KGW and KATU both have an article about Goldschmidt resigning from the State Board of Higher Ed and from the Texas Pacific Group. Willamette Week is saying he is resigning because of a sex scandal.

The "health reasons" excuse sounds a little fishy, but WW has something of a spotty reporting record too- and these are 30 year old allegations making the alleged minor 44 years old now!

Probably best for him to bow out in any event though. He's been involved in one too many shady deals, I think.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if someone on the board of his happy little Texas energy conglomerate didn't plan the press leak for his sex scandal, to backstab him out of the picture. Dumbass Goldschmidt thought he was playing hardball, when he was just someone else's prison bitch all along.
