Write Governor Ted Kulongoski
The U.S. trade representative is lobbying all 50 governors that that trade rules that would guarantee foreign companies equal access to state government contracts.

This means that state governments would outsource state contracts
(like social services support to India) versus hiring their own state citizens and keeping those jobs and the resulting income in the state's economy.

This means our state tax dollars are being used to fire state
citizens and hire foreigners.

Oregon is one of the states bowing to the Bush administration
pressure and agreeing to this insanity.

This is just dead wrong, especially with Oregon the highest
unemployment in the nation.
