I know this was discussed at the MeetUp, but I missed the details. Thanks Reader Rabbit for the heads up!

Where, why, who's going?

2. Well, we can meet up anyway...
and march together. :)

looks like Oak and Naito pkwy, 2 blocks north of the Morrison Bridge is the start point.

We should find a landmark close to there, it would be easier to find each other.

I have no idea where the march will end, but we can find the nearest pub after.

Peace march means some downtown delays Sunday
Afternoon rally goes from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
March 15, 2006

A peace march through downtown Portland may mean delays of 15-20 minutes for MAX and bus riders through the city center on Sunday, March 19.

The Rally to End the War march is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All buses will remain on regular routes throughout the day. TriMet staff will assist trains and buses through intersections during the march.

8. Meet-up: Where and when?
Flyer says people will start congregating (officially) at 1:30, and the program itself will begin at 2:00. Do we want to meet somewhere less crowded and then walk over together? If so, we could plan to meet by Umbrella Man in Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Whaddya think, folks?

10. Somewhere closer maybe?
Pioneer Square is several blocks away.

What about the Firehouse on First, right behind Skidmore fountain?
I'll be getting off the Max... plus I don't want to miss the first speaker! see post #11

12. Firehouse on First!
I like the sound of that. Very alliterative! LOL

Sounds good to me. What time? 1:30?

Should we bring signs? Sometimes they aren't allowed at these things, or there are restrictions.

13. I'll be there
Our church folks will be meeting at First and Morrison, right down from the 3rd and Morrison MAX stop about 1:30. Look for the "Peace Church of the Brethren" banner, and you'll find me. My sign will likely read either "All War Is Sin" or "A Traitor to a Dictator Is A Patriot."
