1. The biggies are "The Praise of Folly" and "Discourse on Free Will"

"The Praise of Folly" is probably easier to approach, as much of it is segmented into bite-sized portions where the idiocies of various pre-enlightenment social roles are enumerated and dissected in turn. Makes for great bathroom reading, very witty stuff.

"Discourse on Free Will" is more of a correspondence debate between Erasmus (who was a Catholic bishop) and Luther (Mr. Reformation himself). Heavier, but also worthwhile if you're interested in such things. Our acquaintance at the meet-up (what was his name? I don't recall if he mentioned it) was referencing this one.

I recommend starting with Praise of Folly, though.
