Saturday was apparently "bring your pet snakes on MAX" day.

Crowded train, family of four boards downtown, each with a large snake draped around the neck/shoulders. Several passengers expressed fear, terror, and the family was told, "you can't bring those on the train." The mom, with the biggest snake replies, "oh, they're fine. This one's just a little stressed. If everyone just stays still, it'll he'll be fine."

At this exact moment, about a dozen more people crwoded onto the train, and were none too happy to be crammed up against large snakes.

I got a girl banned from Tri-Met for having a snake on board a bus and being defiant about it.

They got on at NW 6th & Davis, then got off at the Rose Garden. This was also around the time when the Blazers game was getting out.
