Occupy Salem enters second day, no arrests made
More than a dozen tents stood at the east end of Willson Park this morning.

Law enforcement made no arrests overnight related to the Occupy Salem movement, now in its second day.

One of the organizers, Michele Darr, said it was a quiet night with between 20 and 40 campers staying in tents.

“Last night the police told us they weren't going to do anything as long as things didn’t get out of hand,” Darr said ...
