Someone told me I could.

I'm a disappointed Edwards supporter trying to figure out a voting strategy.

1. Write in a Protest Vote. "Mickey Mouse" would do or better yet "Single Payer Healthcare 4 All"...
...or any message you want to send

I'm an elected Inspector of Elections -- they actually have to count and report all those write in votes.

Let's face it -- by April 22 it won't make much difference anyway, and at least you will send the Dem Party a message. (Good luck getting them to hear it, though.)

2. We love John & Elizabeth in Westmoreland
Im an edwards supporter too....
I am very disappointed that he has left the race, but I am so proud. John
and Elizabeth have far more backbone and determination that
any of the candidates remaining. More so, they laid it on the
line to tell the truth for families all across America (and PA
for that matter) who have been forgotton or muted out.

It was so clear cut for me to support Edwards... he's the only one
that wasn't afraid to tell the truth and it really upset alot of
"corporate and media hogs" alike. He was the only one who stood
up for the organized labor movement. It's real simple... if united
we have a voice and a seat at the table... and if divided, we don't.

I was so proud of the Steelworkers (Gerard) and Mineworkers (Roberts)
for endorsing John Edwards based on principle and who he stood for. I
sadly, cannot say the same for some other union leaders, who sought to
put personal gain above principle in practice. They... too have a disconnect
with a majority of their membership. Well, we'll always be rooting for John and
Elizabeth. Whomever, Roberts and Gerard come up with to endorse is fine with me.
They are very credible based on principles and looking out for working families and
retirees. Best of luck... personally id go for Obama.

3. As I understand it we'll be able to do a write in...
I don't think he will be on the ballot because we were in the process of gathering signatures to get him on the ballot when he suspended. If you can't do a write in on the stupid electronic machines, you should be able to ask for a paper ballot. I plan to do whatever I have to to cast my vote for Edwards, it's just a question of voting for what I believe in and actually feeling good about my vote for a change...another PA Duer in Lancaster is looking into whether he'll be on the ballot at all, but she had confirmation at least for her county that a write in was allowed for the primary...hope that helps!

5. Edwards supporter > will reluctantly vote for Obama
I thought John Edwards was our best chance against the repukes in Nov... don't understand why other Dems didn't see that.
Now, I believe that Mr. Obama is our best hope of beating McCain. The repuke base will come out of the woodwork to vote against Ms. Clinton. The conservative media has made no secret of the fact that they want Ms. Clinton to be our candidate. Unfortunately at this point, I'll reluctantly vote for Mr. Obama as a way to thwart Ms. Clinton. In November, I'll proudly vote for the Democratic candidate.
