Obama Opens Bethlehem Office

A set of Obama offices will be set up this week. The one in Bethlehem just opened at 531 Main St.

From the Express-times:

"Bar Johnston said more than 400 active volunteers will operate out of the new Bethlehem office, which opens Friday.

The volunteer drive will start Saturday, focusing on registering new voters and creating volunteer teams within specific neighborhoods.

"It's amazing how the social fabric grows during these campaigns, because you really get to know your neighbors, and that's really what Obama is talking about," Johnston said. "He's saying, 'I want you to go into your neighborhoods and do amazing things for other people.'"
