Request for Tuesday
On Tuesday, all eyes are going to on Pennsylvania. If you're an Obama or Hillary supporter, it's going to be a big day. We're all going to be wondering what is going on and the general mood of the state. Can you all post your personal reflections and observations about Tuesday's events here in this forum or upstairs in GD-P?

I remember the attention my own home state of Texas received not too long ago, and I'm glad to see Pennsylvania getting some of it as well. No matter who wins the state, I think this campaign was a boon for Texas's Democratic Party and I think similarly a boon for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party as well. All good!

1. I'll be working at the local polling place all day and I'll check
in when I get home. We're very rural, so I might get a sense of what's happening with the rural vote, at least in my little corner of PA. :hi:

3. Relevance
I for one am happy that our state is relevant again in the choosing of a candidate. Usually we are just the rubber stamp. Irregardless of who wins it is gratifying to see people talking about the issues and registering to vote.

4. I live in Texas
And it felt very good to actually feel like my voice was meaningful to the campaigns. I can fully sympathize with your situation and share in your happiness. I half have felt that part of the reason why the Democratic Party in Texas lost some of its strength was due to pushing the primary out so late that it failed to energize people early enough and to help draw people into the party early. I hope they see the value now in having an earlier primary. Maybe Pennsylvania as well.
