"Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama and FOX News Channel's Bill O'Reilly will meet in York Thursday for a one-on-one interview, the network said this evening.

The interview will be presented on tape on "The O'Reilly Factor" in several parts, with the first part airing at 8 p.m. Thursday. Additional parts will be aired in the following days, the network said in a news release.

The network said O'Reilly will ask about Obama's political career and his positions on domestic issues and foreign policy in Iraq and Iran.

Obama's campaign had announced earlier today that he would appear at Buchanan Park in Lancaster at 5 p.m. Thursday. "

3. Report from Lancaster - Good News & Bad News!!
The bad news: I waited in line for 2 1/2 hours and couldn't get in.

The good news: There were SO MANY PEOPLE there that I couldn't get in after I waited in line for 2 1/2 hours!!! :bounce:

I got 2 new t-shirts and got to meet some great people in line. Then I walked around the back of the venue and saw Barack getting out of his big black SUV and go in to speak. I waited til he went in and heard the BIG CHEER, and figured I could see it on YouTube or something tomorrow... so I went home.

I'm glad I went. I actually got to see him closer (when he got out of his vehicle) than I would have if I'd been inside the venue.

Holy cow, though, when I was growing up in Lancaster, there were like 8 Democrats in the whole county (slight exaggeration). It was AWESOME to see so many people turn out!!! :woohoo:
