1. 15th District in Lehigh Valley PA
This is a swing district. Dent is personally popular among regular voters, but we now have a strong Dem candidate for once.

2. 1st decent Democratic candidate for this seat since 1996
This has always been a winnable seat, but every two years we have come up short in recruiting a quality candidate.

3. Hope the sources are correct
So I guess it's not official just yet. The Dent smear machine should swing into action soon. Also The Morning Call & WFMZ will be trying to get out any negative stuff about Mayor Callahan. He seems popular in Bethlehem... not sure about the rest of the Lehigh Valley.

to me. It hurts the poorest of the poor (or are they supposed to buy only the exempted "food and prescription drugs"?). No wonder this idea got its start in a business-leaders assemblage.

And he is my Mayor, so I know a bit about the local scene. Bethlehem, e.g., was/is supposed to get a nice chunk of change from Sands Casino.
