I oppose all of his proposals. I oppose that he is even a resident of this state or this country, for that matter.

2. Is anyone having problems with this link? |
|
If so here is a link to the PPG's homepage. There is a another link to the poll under the headline "Penn State Warns of Closures" http://www.post-gazette.com/

3. So far, "I oppose all of his proposals" is winning at 44% |
|
I remember protesting Milton Shapp back in the early 70's because he raised the state tuition by a shocking $50.00! It represented a 50% increase. I hope some students get busy and start letting Corbett know how unacceptable this is, but then again, if he is trying to make an economy of Marcellus Shale gas workers then the citizens of PA don't need much education for that line of work. Maybe that's his game.

4. "Oppose all" is now at 48% and "oppose most" at 30% |
|
That makes 78% who oppose most or all. Did Corbett misjudge the public's reaction or doesn't he care? I get the feeling that he marches solely to the beat of his corporate masters.

5. Maybe this will give the Post Gazette a clue that they endorsed the wrong guy. |
|
That's probably just wishful thinking on my part!

The GOP got carried away with their "mandate" from the 2010 elections. They think they can do whatever they want, even things they did not campaign on. Corbett is going to cause a lot of pain for middle-class, lower-class families and I don't think it bothers him one bit.
