Any word going around on Al Gore? |
|
I've been hearing a lot of talk lately of Al Gore possibly running in 2008. I would love this. Even though I'm a really big Kerry supporter I also adore Al Gore and think he would be great! Anybody hear anything in the Nashville area?

1. I watched the McLaughlin group Friday night |

FWIW. The host's weekly "prediction" was simply "Al Gore's back!" He didn't elaborate, but I took it to mean that McLaughlin thinks Al will run for president again. Gee, wouldn't Al versus Hillary make for an interesting primary?

And I think Gore would probably win. Many people are wanting to go the Howard Dean direction and Gore endorsed Dean. While Dean's policies are moderate to center his ways are what people are liking. I think it'd be great. Wouldn't it be funny if it was Gore/Clinton? Ha!

I'm not sure at this point what our best bet is, but I'd like to see Clark and Edwards in the mix for sure.

If I can't have John Kerry I'd love to have Al Gore. Think of the administration Gore could have! Edwards, Clark and possibly Kerry. Anything could happen though from now until 2008. :) I think for now it's just hoping and rumors.

Assuming we still have free elections in this country, there is no way we won't take back the government in 2006/2008. Unfortunately, that's a pretty big assumption.

someone posted a story about how a lot of states (including Texas!) are now going for paper trails with the machine's which is a very good sign for us! I'm sure you can find it in GD.

i certainly hope the party hacks--excuse me, leaders--are paying attention.
it's especially nice beause of B*'s 2000 debate claim that being governor of texas gave him experience in dealing with disasters.
ROTFL!

I hope that Gore runs. I think we'll need him in 2008, but if he doesn't run then that's cool too. Al Gore is such an angel. :) Our country truly is lucky to have him. He was here in Chattanooga earlier today dropping people off. A local church here is letting people stay in there building and helping them out. :)
