Van Hilleary is Running Against Hillary
I saw one of his tv spots the other day, wherein he stated among his reasons for wanting to be our senator was to "stop Hillary Clinton."

When he ran for Governor a few years ago, his sole reason for running was to stop Phil Bredesen.

I'm thinking I wouldn't mind if Van wins the Repub primary.

1. Yes, you would mind because he might get elected. He's a sick dude.
He's so right-wing that he's off the edge.

He has the IQ of a walnut, well maybe of the squirrel that eats the walmut.

He's absolutely, totally obsessed with the agenda of the religious right.

He's a very frightening person.

2. Who Got Clobbered By Bredesen
Which was the point. If the best thing Hilleary has to recommend himself as a candidate is "I'll stop Hilary Clinton," that's not so promising, is it?

You think Bryson and Corker would be more favorable to run against? If so, why?

3. Hilleary might be more beatable in a rational universe ......
But we don't want to see him win the primary, because Bryant and Corker aren't certifiable nut jobs, and this being Tennessee, we're afraid the (R) candidate will win regardless of what name ends up in that slot.

I have many more relatives that vote straight party than actually can name the issues.

And I can agree that a DINO is better for the country because of the majority leader position, although I can't agree that there's a lot of difference between Ford and Corker on issues.

oops, royal 'we', but I think it stands.

I still don't know which one is the best for Ford to beat.
