On the average, 250 to 300 cats and dogs are destroyed every week at just one area shelter.
We hope this page disturbes you, angers you, upsets you. It should. What happens at the shelter everyday is obscene, but it is not their fault, it is ours, the community. It is our RESPONSIBILITY to right this wrong. This does not have to happen. We need only to work together, get involved, speak out, make change....do the right thing. Please, for them, find out what you can do.

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter....the castoffs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal, and I was angry.
