Shocked, shocked and shocked again!
Please bear with me...

The first shock was attending an Edwards rally on Mon. only to learn that he suspended his campaign on Wed. (My Bush** voting Mom had mentioned him to me and stated that he just didn't seem to be catching on). I thought that she was just taking a slight dig at me, so I let it go.

The following Sat. our sheriff, Billy Long, was arrested and is still being held without bond in the Hamilton County jail.

Tonight the grandparents were over for dinner (Feb. is birthday month here) and the oldest turned 18 today. Anyway, my Mom and I were in the kitchen chatting while cleaning up. She's someone that I would describe as a closet racist, anyway a lot was being said and she stated that she voted for Obama in the GA primary. She then asked me who I was leaning toward as she knows that I hold an office in the county party and will have to work for whoever is the nominee, and I told her honestly that I'm undecided until the primaries are over, but that the spousal unit had voted for Obama in the primary after Edwards suspended.

I mentioned Pelosi and my Mom also chimed in with her disappointment that she hadn't taken Bush** out behind the woodshed yet, as we both had such high hopes for her and the Dem takeover in Congress.

I realize that is a bit rambling and may not be very coherent and is just a small snippet of what's going on...but chin up. The Bush** voters are sick of the repubbies and my Mom isn't even interested in McCain and also told my boys that a nut like Huck and his wanting to replace the Constitution with "God's law" wouldn't have made it past the starting gate to be able to run for president in years past. "It's just too bad that a lot of us didn't see these same extremes in Bush**."

Keep on keepin' on 'cause folks are sick of the crap they've had from the repubbies.

1. Right now
Gore looks like 5 per cent to Hillery. The Climton,s think any percent of Al Gore becomming the democratic choice or surprise choice is too much. There is indeed more going on than meets the eye.

And here,s the catch, Gore did not vote for the war and he does indeed have the necessary experience.

How can this happen you ask-, Remember this, circumstances and events make and or break politicans. And that,s the buttom line.

How about that Tom Foley ?

It came down quick and he exited even quicker.

And that,s just how fast things can change.

2. So, are you advocating for a brokered convention?
I was part of a local draft Gore movement until he requested that it be stopped.

3. Just looking ahead
in a positive sense. Numbers turn and turn over ,things happen, circumstances and events change things. It,s a long way off November is.
Right now the number for Gore is five. That too can change. After all smooth sailing is always nice, but you must be able to sail in all weather.
Gore,s a darn good sailor isn,t he? Pretty good navigator too.

One thing I do know is that there isn,t going to be a easy shoe in this time. Not this November.

4. Just to let you know, the apostrophe key is next to the enter key.
Seems you are using commas instead of apostrophes, thought perhaps you didn't know where the key was located.:)

5. I believe there a quite a few Repubs who are "secretly" supporting a Dem
After all, look at the group they've fielded. You'd be hard-pressed to find a bigger group of losers.

McCain--His time has passed. We don't want another OLD President. He is incoherent much of the time. Has become W II:wtf:

Huckabee--Way too evangelical for many Repubs. ?Change Constitution to align w/Bible?

Ghouliani--9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,9/11,......:scared:

Romney--May actually be a robot. :puffpiece:

Paul--Strong showing, considering he gets little press. A Libertarian won't get the major Repub vote.

Tencredo, Hunter, The Two Thompsons (one too old, the other too boring):eyes:

6. In her more rational moments I get the feeling that the pubs
and their excesses have truly scared Mom, and I don't believe that she's the only one!

7. The road to change
needs expert pavers -, not leapers that take leaps and bounds past the rough dirt of the unpaved portions. I,am not talking about mear pot holes here and I am not driving on the shoulder of the road either.

The only fear you have to fear is the fear of running out of road because the pavers had not time to complete the work! Or even worse than that the work was never really scheduled!

Never lose sight of the fact that lawers and politicans just must be natural born liers! It,s part of their time in training by the way!

Have you ever known of a politican to tell you the inconvenient truth ?

If you know of such a politican, do let this person know the time is now!

sincere reguards
Washington state deskjet.
