Tarrant county teabagger alert.
I voted early today at the Keller town hall, and there was a woman outside in the parking lot, with all the signs on her car (take back America, Wake up America. etc.), approaching anyone who was walking up. My husband got caught, and he will talk your ear off. After we voted and left the building, here she comes. She spouted all the talking points, Obama is a socialist, where's the stimulus money, George Soros' secrecy, the whole shebang. I told her she didn't have her facts right, and she practically screamed that we thought "they" were ignorant, when they actually were college graduates. I just laughed and asked her if she realized that she and her associates were being used by the wealthy to regain power, and did she know who the Koch brothers were. She totally ignored my question, and started calling Obama a socialist. I left, but my husband stayed on. He's very reasonable with a cooler head than me. He said she ended up calling Obama a communist, so he had to finally walk away. I knew this was going to happen here. Ugh!

1. She should be reported if she crossed over the 100 ft limit of the polling location
These people (?) are totally unhinged. I hope the Tarrant County Election admin addresses this in our training session. I have asked him to do so, as I get alarmed at the T'baggers uncontrollable outrage. Will have to wait until Monday when I'm scheduled to attend if he addresses it or not.

Glad you didn't stick around to long to listen to her spew her hatred.

:hi: I'm just south of you!

2. I was watching where she was standing.
I told her to be careful about being too close. Should they be approaching voters like that?

3. I just don't even understand the motivation of someone doing it
Especially AFTER someone votes.

And yes, if she's outside the distance, she could approach anyone I would assume. But if it borderlines on harassment someone should call the police on her.

4. I wonder how they are going to be on Tuesday!
My son has been out of town, so maybe I'll go with him when he votes just to see if they're out in force.

5. I'm also in Tarrant County and I didn't see anything like this when I voted last week
I was at one of the court houses, but then it was at 6:30pm and I was the only voter at the time. :)

6. This was in Keller,
which can be a hotbed of hotheads! She was alone, but had all the signs around her car.

8. She was a nut!
She couldn't quit talking about George Soros, and when I reminded her of the Koch Bros., all I got was a blank stare. Jim had much more patience than me.:7

9. I voted at Keller town hall as well....
Thursday last week around 4:15 pm. All of the machines upstairs were full, but I only had to wait a couple of minutes. I'm happy to say that everyone there was calm and I didn't run into any nutjobs in the parking lot :)

Hello, fellow NRH-er!
