Texas Lobbying Spending
http://www.texastribune.org/library/data/lobbying/

Lobbyists in Texas are required to report how much they spend trying to influence legislation and public policy, and also details about the clients who hire them. This application details those transactions by year, according to data released by the Texas Ethics Commission. Search for specific lobbyists, or browse the lobbyist and client directories. Learn more about this issue on our lobbyists and lobbying topic page
It's wild to see where this money is going to...especially how much is going to immediate family.

1. Where is Waste Specialists and Harold Simmons?
I could not find him listed at all. If he gave members over $182,000 you think he'd show up as one of the top buyers. Or does his money not qualify as lobbing?

A new Lobby Watch looks at the radioactive correlation between Simmons' money and Simmons votes.
