Don't know if anyone else has done this...
I'd like to get a wide group of people to start asking their cable companies to carry a "basic package" that does NOT include FOX news.
In northern virginia, my cable company is COMCAST - a huge company.
If 1000+ people asked for the non-FOX news package from COMCAST (and it doesn't have to be cheaper), I think it MIGHT make a small dent and send a message.
We might even make a moral statement - "I don't want to expose my children to lies" or some such.

but with digital programming, they can easily remove it from your lineup so the children don't have to be subjected to it.
btw, this can be done with XM satellite radio as well...just call 1-800-XMRADIO and ask them to delete FOXNEWS, and perhaps AmericaRight, and FAMILY (which is the most hateful broadcast I have ever heard.)
