North Richmond election for delegate -- get out there and vote!!!

It isn't my district, but I got this email:

Great news for Virginia Democrats
We picked up another seat in the House of Delegates today!
In Lynchburg, Shannon Valentine defeated her Republican opponent with a 15% margin and 33% turnout.

We currently have 40 delegates with 4 independents and 56 Republicans.
If we gain only one more seat, we should get an extra Democrat on every 22 member committee
Luckily we have a good shot to do just that very soon.

There are two special elections coming up in either late January or early February.
Special elections happen quickly with low turnout.
A few dollars, phone calls, and volunteer time can win seats that would be hard and expensive to win in November.

Please donate if you can to these two important races. Time is short.
Small amounts make a large difference in special elections.
If you have Democratic friends and relatives in these areas, contact them to remind them to vote.
Special elections are all about getting out the base.

In the 97th district north of Richmond, we have a strong viable candidate.
John Montgomery, is a former Army Ranger, Desert Shield Veteran, and PTA President.
A few years ago, the Democratic party had all but abandoned this district, now we have a resurgent dedicated organization poised to take back the delegate seat.
