Coming from NN/Hampton area:

TAKE I-64 WEST
TAKE COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG/CAMP PEARY EXIT #238 toward COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG
(you'll find out really quick that you goofed if you try to go enter camp peary)
go to second light, Turn RIGHT (VA-132)
Turn RIGHT at next light onto BYPASS RD/US-60
Turn RIGHT onto WALLER MILL RD (a la quinta inn will be on the corner of waller mill and bypass rd)

Looks like a wonderful plan and a great inspiration for all VA DUers to meetup in their towns and cities!

I know VaBch isn't too far, but it's a TUESDAY NIGHT ! TUNNELS! SUMMER! And if there's an afternoon thunderstorm, it's a 4 hour drive :silly:

So I'm going to give you a definite "maybe" for 2 DUers from Norfolk and VB, because it's a fabulous idea and we LOVE Williamsburg :loveya:

Just a suggestion...why not crosspost your RSVP in GD and the Lounge? I know there are many more VA DUers than post here regularly. Also, contact Admin, they'll put it on the Home Page in that little Meet-Up box in the right column. Never know if you have DUers *vacaying* in the area too :hi:

25. OH SNAP! MY BAD! I DIDN'T BRING A CAMERA!

There were 10 of us all together and we had a blast!

Par the usual with DU, we solved the world's problems by the dessert course . Anyone who knows about the Peking knows it blows all the other Chinese buffet style restaurants in the area AWAY (well, that's just me sayin').

We were talking about a weekend next time so hopefully some more locals + Tidewater/Richmond can make it, and maybe make it more of a night out at a club rather than a dinner thing.

We had approx 6-?? for a *National* impromtu Meetup for breakfast for pre-NYC Peace Rally March last April, on a lovely side "feeder" street, somewhere on the lower East Side, and THAT was soooooo fun.

Pepperbear is a born entertainer and folks, you should hear his music. He was so gracious to bring us all a CD of his latest compositions, which blew me away. I want more. And quisp and family, and greyl and pumpkinpie were charming. Big hugs guys.
