Did a whole lot of driving through the Old Dominion this weekend |
|
First to the Celtic festival and then out to Chippokes for the Plantation Christmas festival.
I have to say, I was thrilled to see so many Webb signs and so many NO to the Marriage Amendment signs!!!
In Surry, there were, of course, a lot of Allen signs (always strikes me as so dumb when the sign is in front of a house with an RV bigger than it in the side yard, but I digress)
I was pleasantly surprised and am now even more hopeful.

I posted in the Lounge asking if anyone would be at the Highland Games, so we could meet.
Dammit!

3. Well, I didn't actually 'attend', unfortunately. |
|
Mr. wanted to go and since the defibrillator implantation, he can't drive, so I drove him, my son and my son's friend and dropped them off because the 10yo had a birthday party to attend and the 16yo needed to go to the tailor to get her dress for homecoming altered.
They had a great time and it looked like a lot of fun. I was sorry that I couldn't stay and was only the taxi. Next year, I'm getting out of the car.

|
We save up money all through September and October so we can blow it there on whisky, fish and chips, and other sundry things bad for us.
