I am planning a Colonial Williamsburg vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday (actually it starts the day after)...
So if you have some recommendations on some places to eat..or places we should absolutely see...let me know.
We are staying at the Governor's Inn...which is I guess close enough to walk or to take a shuttle.
I hope to also see Jamestown as well...
Kudos to the folks who worked for Webb!!!!
I myself need this vacation because after all the work to get rid of Santorum....I need to get away for a bit...

Make sure you hit the bakery in the historic section of the town. They sell wonderful gingerbread cookies and cider. We never visit Williamsburg without a visit to the bakery. Also, for an upscale, delicious restaurant, try The Trellis. They have a wonderful "better than sex" chocolate dessert! Have fun.

Well worth a visit to see where the Brits surrendered! Nice park, good museum, and the battlefield is laid out to make it very comprehensible for those not steeped in military tactics!
