Check your VA registration status online

MoveOnPAC has just sent around an email noting that about 30% of their members in selected states do not appear on voter rolls, and urge everyone to register or check their registration.

I just discovered there's a way to do this online in Virginia:

You do have to have a DMV online ID to do this (that's the ID you use if you do online payments for license tags, vehicle tax, etc.)

I'd suggest forwarding this info to your local party lists, friends, etc. (the other option to check registration status is simply to phone your local Registrar of Voters office)

5. I am not registered?!!!!!!!!

I just checked and it said I was not registered. Thank you sooooooooooo much for posting this. Deadline is tommorrow to register. My wife and I are going to rush down tommorrow and figure out what is up. I have been voting for several years from the same address too. WTF?
