http://www.cavalierdaily.com/lead.asp?pid=1196Just in time for the big Clemson game. Hope they've got plenty of copies on hand where alumni will pick them up. :)

1. Realistically speaking, does Weed have a chance to win? |
|
I've been to Albemarle County several times in the last month and all I see is Weed signs all over the place. Is this isolated or does he have a chance to win?

3. He'll win C-ville/Albemarle; beyond that... |

Goode has essentially conceded the northern part of the district. His big strength is in the southside. He got about 60% of the vote in his last race. So it's still something of a longshot, but if Bush has enough of a negative coattail effect, if our supporters turn out in good numbers, and if the media buy in the next three weeks (TV ads planned, duration depending on final fundraising) raises his name recognition in the parts of the district where he's not well known, then we've got a decent chance. A lot, I think, will depend on the effectiveness of voter registration and GOTV efforts.
