Poll shows Obama carrying Virginia in 2012

Despite a slim approval rating, President Barack Obama would carry Virginia by a comfortable margin if the election were held today, according to a poll released today.

Obama would defeat Mitt Romney by 5 percentage points and other potential contenders, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin by a larger amount.Pollster Tom Jensen concluded that the numbers show that Obama’s advantage in Virginia “is more about them than it is about him.”

UNLESS AND UNTIL... he starts to back away from the corporate shills and political interests of the right...and stops caving to the right...he will lose in 2012...he promised too much....he delivered on too little...and the audacity of hope is now seen by many as the audacity of hype....once in office...he realized that the "butter" on his bread was sweeter when it was paid for by big business/wall street money....sad...very sad...
