Will Democrats hold the Virginia Governorship in 2005? |
|
I am hearing that Tim Kaine (Lt. Governor) is the candidate of choice.
What are you hearing, your thoughts?

1. Tim Kaine Will be the nominee |
|
I'm pretty sure he is running unoppose in the primary. I guess someone could get into the race but I don't think it will happen simply because Tim Kaine is very well known if a state senator or delegate were to challenge him they wouldn't have the same popularity as Tim.

5. I think Kaine has a real good chance against |
|
Kilgore. Warner, though less liberal than I would like has done a good job with the mess that he was left by Gilmore. I think we could hold the capitol for another four years.

I think that is a tought question at this time. At least here is the Tidewater area, Kaine is basically an unknow quantitiy. As Lt Gov he has been pretty invisible as far as I can see. Kilgore has a much wider name recognition factor at this point.
