Dino Rossi concedes

Gov. Chris Gregoire won her re-election bid Tuesday night with solid support from Democratic voters who turned out in droves to support President-elect Barack Obama.

In a televised speech, her GOP opponent Dino Rossi conceded Wednesday morning.

So, Dino. You ran a lot of pretty negative ads during this campaign.

Do you think the one where you compared Gov. Gregroire to human shit helped or hurt your election bid?

admittedly, I am partisan, but those ads totally lost the election for him. The one with guy and the match, speaking condescendingly to the camera going "poof" was offensive even to my non-democratic friends. He was like the jerk you move away from at parties.

And I did hear from a couple of people that they did not like the way they assumed they were stupid with blaming the bad economy on the Governor of Washington State, like we were a separate entity from the USA, and Bush hadn't devalued the dollar and tripled the price of gas.

Dino lived up to his reputation as sleaze master.
