There are rumors that a coming WEA endorsement of Heck pushed the announcement but Pridemore only mentioned that he wouldn't be able to overcome Heck's fundraising advantage. That means that Heck won't be beat up in a primary fight and it makes it more likely that Ds will hold the third in November.
