1. I want to go to one ... |
|
Can't decide which. I'm in Charleston, so I'll probably attend the one here. I hope a lot of people show.
Thanks for the reminder!
Is anyone else here going? I'd like to meet some DUers! :hi:

2. rev lewis is putting on the one in charleston |
|
i was going to go, but my travel plans have changed (i'm in huntington) but i'm sure it will have a decent turnout. wv patriots for peace usually has a core group of 50 people that always show up, and lewis was all over the radio today promoting it
it's too bad they didn't know about the mother in boone county, though. it would have been cool to comine the events for a larger turnout

3. News from Camp Casey in Crawford |
|
I just got off the phone with a friend of mine, who just arrived at Camp Casey in Crawford. He was hoping to get a chance to speak to Cindy Sheehan, but there's so many reporters there, he doesn't think that will happen. He saw Anderson Cooper, but didn't recognize anybody else so far. He guessed there were about 1,000 people there, and the white crosses run along the road for about a half mile.
I told him about the vigil for Scotty Ulbrich, and he said he would pass the word along to Cindy if he gets a chance. He said he had no idea until now, that there must be around a thousand vigils going on nation wide right now.
I wish strength for the Ulbrich family as they and the rest of Boone County mourns the loss of Scotty.
Pray for peace. It's still a good idea.
