Appalachian Voices
The new Appalachian Voices blog is up and running! We will be covering daily environmental, cultural, and political news for West Virginia, and the entire Appalachian Region.

Our main focuses are on ending mountaintop removal coal-mining, clean air in the mountains, and sustainable forestry. We will, however, be covering a wide range of issues from Appalachian Literature and music, to modern environmentalism and political developments in the region.

Hope you find us a useful resource! Keep up the great work!

1. Great.
I was born in Western NC and live in Northern Cal now and Southern Cal before that so it's nice to visit back home instead of checking in at the Asheville Citizen Times for my homey news. I will let my pals and family back there know about this. Thanks.

Nowhere do I love as much as the Appalachian Mountains, but Northern California is about as beautiful a place as I've ever seen. :)
