Still no poll on the Smelly/Callaghan race.

1. I see this post was from September, how is Wakim/Molohan
race doing now? I see the GOP is sinking a lot of money into it. I live in Ohio but know Chris Wakim he belongs to my health club he is a Bush lover, he always has a copy of the American Spectator or other right wing publication. Is this Smelly guy the Republican, just wondered the name is appropriate?

2. Smelly = Shelley Moore Capito (R), 2nd district incumbent.

4. Mollohan 52% Wakim 42%
This is the result of the only poll that's been conducted as far as I know. Looks like Mollohan's going to get re-elected despite his indescretions with nonprofits.

There was one poll done awhile back on the Smelly Snore Crappytoe/Callaghan race, but it was commissioned by Republics and they would not release the results. And so we are left with the Charleston Gazette online poll, which is questionable from the start as all online polls are. Still, a 15% Callaghan advantage is encouraging and might explain why Capito wouldn't release the earlier poll results.

Callaghan has raised only $421K and has almost nothing left. Capito's spent $1.3M so far and still has about half that amount left.

5. Mollohan got my vote this morning

I hope your poll is somewhat accurate. I was getting worried about this one. Wakim has been spending Rove/Perry's money like its 1999 for the last couple months, and I was afraid that there are just too many gullible idiots who will buy into the smears/attacks.

A few weeks back, every single day when I got home there would be 1-3 pre-recorded messages on my machine babbling on about how Mollohan hates old people and wants them to die, etc etc...

I finally got them to take my # off their list, and then it seemed like the day the calls stopped, I started getting pro-Wakim junk mail in my box 2-3 times a week.

Cross your fingers folks... Peace
