Nitro Saga Detailed In Kanawha County Blog This Saturday

Beginning this Saturday at 11am, a one month independent investigation will finally put to rest the questions, accusations and detail a possible motive behind Nitro's failing government finances and a smoke screen that has blinded the truth for everyone in town.

KC Blog has unmasked some facts that no one else has exposed....Facts that will show the finger-pointing, distrust among residents and local politicians has nothing to do with the big picture. There is a motive behind the madness and you wont believe who is possibly behind it.

7. Glad I Moved Away

I use to live in Cross Lanes years ago and can still remember when all of the bribes and corruption surfaced about JAMON Real-Estate owner Bill Ellis and the racetrack. He was convicted of bribery.

Isnt the annexation with THF and Nitro about to expire? I also remember what happened to Jefferson, that was over the towns mis-management - chaos and strippers wasn't it?

Why hasn't the State and or the County gone in and bailed Nitro out of this mess? I know the county has givien them small increments of money but nothing near what is needed.

9. We have tried

Some of us have tried to get this whole thing investigated by Federal Officials to no avail. We have believed for a long time that there was a lot more to this, but we could not get anything done.
Some newer local residents have shady real estate pasts, among other things. There are connections between locals and THF and between THF and County officials. But the connections are vague at best. We KNOW there is something afoot, but what and how to prove it?

3. no surprise

I have thought for a long time that there was more to this than met the eye. Revenue from the track will be plentiful for one thing. Wanting control of that revenue could make people do unsavory things. The power hungry politicians seek money like a dog after a bone.
One thing I know for sure, two things some politicians crave is power and money, and with one they usually get the other. The only source of either in little Nitro is that track.
I hope someone finds out what Karen Fritz and Don Karnes has to gain from this as well, I am sure there is something.

Who has the most to lose, & who has the most to gain, if Nitro lost its annexation with THF, future racetrack revenue/taxes and in the worst scenerio, if Nitro went into receivership as a failed city government-town like Jefferson did?(but for different reasons of course)...all occuring like a domino effect.

8. Thought from the past

I have thought for a very long time that The County and Charleston has the most to gain.
I have also considered that some local residents might be on the "payroll" at THF.
There are too many snakes in the basket, but knowing and proving are two different things.
What I do believe frevently is that there is way more here than anyone suspected, and I have believed that for over a year now.

It appears 7 Canebrake drive does exist a few miles down the road in BLUFFTON SC which borders HHI.

The press release criteria (its automated) does not offer Bluffton as a city so I think HHI makes sense.

I would not jump to conclusions on what PWDGroup stands for. There are thousands of companies who have the same name, even though PWD is not that common.

Personally, I do not care who is putting all of this out there in the public. Its a good thing. If you looked into Nitro's problems as hard as your trying to look into this, Nitro would be a lot better off.

Lets just all wait and see how this plays out over the next couple weeks. I just find it very hard to believe this (pwdgroup) is all coming from local people associated with Nitro.

They appear to be on more on a higher level.
