Original story & update on Heather Bresch... which now is old news. We first reported this last Monday.

Now, the University President needs to be held accountable.

1. The Cover Up is Always Worse Than Anything
I agree that someone should be held accountable. But why in the world was whether or not she held an MBA or didn't hold an MBA ever an issue? Who cares if a private company wants to hire her? It is really no ones business but Ms. Bresch and the company she works for.

Who cares, the paper many of these degrees is written on these days you can wipe your behind with. This society where everyone goes to college is crazy. Many don't belong.

Most of the successful people in this country never went to college or held a degree.

2. Still Accountable

Everyone is still to be held accountable for their actions. Whether the degree is worth anything or not.

Especially when it puts the integrety of the entire school, and their highest positions of authority come into play.

5. How can you not hold the school accountable?

This impacts every person holding a graduate degree from WVU.

Do you really want your first question in an interview to be, "Did you really earn this?"

3. This afternoon, there were sign-waving protesters in fromt of the WVU admin building
There were a half-dozen non-student protesters along University Avenue in front of Stewart Hall, waving signs calling for Pres. Mike Garrison's resignation.

This is just the latest in the Garrison saga, though. Last year when Pres. Hardesty retired and Garrison was appointed, there was a 'no confidence' vote by the Faculty Senate, after the issue was brought up that Harrison had several cronies on the selection committee.

4. Any word about who these protesters were?

Right away I suspect the non-student protesters might be political operatives wanting to keep this going, hoping to embarrass Manchin.

Edit: Breaking news

WVU Faculty Senate calls for president to quit

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University's Faculty Senate on Monday demanded that the school president resign over the improper awarding of a degree to the governor's daughter, saying the college cannot rebuild its reputation until he leaves office.

The nonbinding motion of no confidence — which passed 77-19, with one abstention — demands that President Mike Garrison step down, or that the WVU Board of Governors require his resignation.

"We all want the healing to begin, but this will not be possible until after a thorough cleansing," said math professor Sherman Riemenschneider, who sponsored the motion. "Our wounds are too deep."

Garrison has repeatedly said he won't resign. He has support from the Board of Governors and Gov. Joe Manchin, who appointed the majority of the board.
